Physical Requirements
- The Pipe Layer position is a physically demanding one which requires varying levels of physical fitness to perform essential job duties.
- This position requires employees to work on their feet on average 10 hours per day.
- The categories of physical requirements to perform the essential job duties of a pipe layer include lifting, lowering, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
- Candidates must be able to regularly lift & lower on average 0-25lbs, maximum 75lbs.
- Additionally, candidates must be able to carry on average 0-40lbs, maximum 75lbs for an average distance of 5-40ft, maximum 100ft.
- Finally, candidates must be able to push & pull up and down on average 0-160lbf, maximum 160lbf and bilaterally on average 0-40lbf, maximum 40lbf.
Hours
Monday-Friday 7:00AM-5:00PM, Saturday 7:00AM-12:00PM -- average 55 hrs./week
