Pipe Fitter

About the role

Responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining piping systems in various industrial settings. Works closely with engineers and other trades to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and install piping systems according to blueprints and specifications
• Perform leak testing and pressure testing of installed systems
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to piping systems
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in pipefitting
• Knowledge of welding techniques and materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software
• Experience with pipe fabrication and assembly
• Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
