Pipe Fitter

About the role

Responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining piping systems in various industrial settings. Works closely with engineers and other trades to ensure compliance with safety standards and codes.

Responsibilities

• Design and install piping systems according to blueprints and specifications
• Inspect and test new and existing piping systems for leaks and defects
• Perform maintenance and repairs on existing piping systems
• Consult with clients and project managers to understand requirements and provide solutions
• Ensure all work adheres to industry safety standards and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in pipe fitting
• Knowledge of welding techniques and pipe fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel up to 50%

Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD or similar drafting software
• Experience with pipe cutting, threading, and bending
• Knowledge of Piping Systems Design and Construction (PSDC) standards

Pay

$50,000 - $60,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed
