Responsibilities

• Create and deliver an over-the-top guest experience
• Taking food and beverage orders as instructed by guests
• Assuring order accuracy and timely delivery
• Processing accurate and timely payments with integrity
• Serving as a menu knowledge expert
• Upselling menu items to generate higher sales
• Executing Responsible Alcohol Service
• Ensuring food safety standards are followed
• Quickly bussing tables and resetting table supplies
• Resetting table supplies upon guest departure
• Successfully resolving conflicts or guest complaints
• Maintaining a stocked and clean serving station/dining room/workspace
• Completing deep cleaning tasks as assigned
• Generating positive working relationships with all team members

Requirements

• Reliable, dependable, and good work ethic
• Prior serving experience, preferably in a high volume, full-service restaurant
• Basic food service, including proper and safe usage of appropriate restaurant equipment
• Knowledge of proper sanitation, food safety and security procedures
• Professional demeanor under pressure
• Understanding of food allergens
• Personable and friendly personality
• Strong customer service and guest satisfaction skills
• Basic math functions and calculations involving currency
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good time management, organization, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills
• Able to take direction and constructive feedback
• Able to lift and move up to 20 pounds
• Able to work at a fast pace and with high intensity while standing for an extended period of time
