About the role
The Pilot Plant Operations Team Leader II is responsible for overseeing the operations of the pilot plant, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and managing team tasks to meet project deadlines.Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the pilot plant
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
- Manage team tasks and delegate responsibilities effectively
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant operations or related field
- Experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with process control systems
- Knowledge of HAZOP and FMEA methodologies
