About the role

Pedal Pub is hiring part-time Pilots/Tour Guides for the summer. We conduct pub crawls on our 15-passenger pedal-powered cycles. Pilots/Tour Guides operate the bikes and lead 2-hour tours while helping passengers celebrate birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, team outings, and friend/family get-togethers. This is a highly tipped position—the more you put into a tour, the more you get out of it.

We look for personality more than past experience. Our pilots come from all walks of life, making this a perfect summer job for students, parents, bartenders, service industry professionals, Uber/Lyft drivers, Amazon shoppers, part-time workers, or 9-to-5ers looking for a change of pace.

Responsibilities

• Operate 15-passenger pedal-powered cycles safely.
• Lead 2-hour pub-crawl tours for groups celebrating special occasions.
• Engage passengers with a fun, upbeat personality.
• Be authoritative when needed to ensure safety and enjoyment.
• Create and adhere to a work schedule.

Requirements

• Fun, upbeat, engaging personality.
• Very responsible and safety-oriented.
• Enjoy the outdoors and being active.
• Must work nights and weekends.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License (no prior suspensions and a clean driving record).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
