About the role

Pedal Pub conducts 1½–2hr tours on our 16-passenger pedal-powered Party Bikes that involve 2-3 stops at various bars, pubs, restaurants, breweries, distilleries, etc. This is a new and exciting opportunity in the Augusta area. We are looking for fun, upbeat people with amazing personalities to join our team as Pedal Pub Bike Pilots.

Pilots guide tours that showcase the best local venues. Passengers come to celebrate birthday parties, bachelorette parties, corporate outings, retirement parties, bar mitzvahs, team outings, class reunions, friend/family get-togethers, and more. Pilots bring their flair to create the best experience possible—it’s their domain to maximize the memorable event for Pedal Pub guests. We look for personality more than past experience. This position is ideal for bartenders, servers, baristas, actors, artists, students, comics, fitness trainers, musicians, photographers, and folks looking for a fun, seasonal job. This is a highly tipped position—the more you put into a tour, the more you get out of it!

Responsibilities

• Entertain guests while safely navigating predetermined routes.
• Narrate tours and provide hyper-local insights to guests.
• Ensure bikes are always safe, clean, and properly maintained.
• Assist with routine cleaning and proper storage of the bikes.
• Follow operational policies, procedures, and applicable traffic laws.
• Promptly report issues to manager or owner.
• Snap good group pictures.

Requirements

• Fun, upbeat, engaging personality.
• Very responsible and safety-oriented.
• Punctual and extremely reliable.
• Must work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a clean motor vehicle driving record and clean criminal record check within the last 5 years.
• Comfortable being authoritative when needed.
• Ability to create and stick to a schedule.
• Enjoy the outdoors and being interactive.
• Successful completion of our Pilot Certification Program.

Pay

Pay is $10–15/hr (company paid) plus customer-paid tips ranging from $30 to $50 per tour, or more.

Schedule

Part-time only; no benefits.
Hours: Monday–Saturday 11am–12am, Sunday 11am–6pm
