Security Officer Patrol Driver - Overnights

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Waterloo, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This primarily driving role requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry, and report unusual activity or potential hazards to appropriate site contacts.
• Complete required reports and maintain accurate activity logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Thursday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
