As a Pilot, you will be responsible for delivering a superior air transportation experience, ensuring safety on every flight while acting as the face of NetJets. You will provide exceptional service, balancing roles as a professional aviator and in-flight service provider to create a concierge-level experience for NetJets Owners and passengers.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate the aircraft from taxi, take-off, and landing per FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs).
  • Greet Owners/passengers pre-flight, brief them on the flight/trip, verify itineraries, provide weather updates, and conduct safety briefings.
  • Deliver in-flight service, including handling alcohol and catering.
  • Load and properly stow all baggage as needed.
  • Conduct flights for Owners with pets and those who smoke.
  • Act as the final authority on the aircraft, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory guidance.
  • Serve as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at the FBO to departure at the final destination.
  • Communicate maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) and complete associated paperwork.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, depending on the position.

Requirements

  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP), Restricted ATP, or meet the requirements for FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating (IAW 61.160):
    • At least 21 years of age
    • 1,500 hours total flight time experience or
    • 1,250 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate or
    • 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification or
    • 1,000 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate
    • 200 hours cross-country (>50 nm) flight time
    • 250 hours fixed-wing PIC
    • 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings
    • 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excludes simulator time)
    • ATP written completed prior to start of Indoctrination Training
    • 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time
  • Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate
  • FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit
  • Valid passport and authorization to work in the U.S. with unrestricted international travel
  • Ability to work varying hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Extreme flexibility to adjust to rapid changes and manage rest for flight duty during tours lasting up to fourteen hours per day for up to eight days
  • Ability to be away from home for seven or more days and nights, staying in hotels
  • Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges
  • Pass Transportation Security Administration background screening
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Service-oriented with a professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure
  • Ability to make quick, accurate decisions with attention to detail
  • Physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly
  • Ability to work around animals, including handling and care during flights
  • Ability to conduct flights for Owners who smoke

Pay

Base Salary Range: $86,015 - $117,706
