About the role

Rowan’s Piercing Studio Nurse, reporting to the Studio Manager, delivers a safe, clean, and joyful ear-piercing experience. You will apply your nursing expertise to perform piercings with care and precision, turning each session into a fun and memorable milestone while building trust and excitement.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Create magical, memorable experiences by combining clinical care with a celebratory atmosphere; ensure safety, comfort, and smooth flow; communicate confidently and professionally; ease concerns; educate on aftercare; evaluate ears for optimal placement; monitor and resolve issues promptly; maintain aseptic environments and proper sterilization.
• Studio Support: Collaborate with the Studio Manager to keep operations smooth; foster a joyful atmosphere; fill shifts as needed; mentor and train new nurses; stay alert to customer-experience issues and escalate or resolve them.
• Inventory and Supplies: Keep all stations stocked and ready; sterilize jewelry and instruments; ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Studio Operations: Follow state, federal, and CDC guidelines to maintain sanitary and safe piercing services.
• Sales: Support key studio metrics (revenue growth, piercings per hour, average order value) and educate customers on Rowan After Care and hypoallergenic jewelry.
• Reporting and Communication: Escalate operational concerns and communicate clearly with management and team members to implement solutions efficiently.

Requirements

• Active RN or LPN/LVN license.
• Eligibility to obtain or possess a body art license or registration per state and local laws.
• Professional, engaging customer-care approach.

• Skill in delivering both technical and non-technical information.
• Interest in retail with sales goals.

Qualifications

• Open to all experience levels; newly licensed nurses are welcome.
• Additional training in pediatrics and/or ear piercing is a plus.

Pay

• $24–$49 per hour, consisting of a $24 base wage plus an estimated $25 per hour in tips once fully trained.
• Tips are customer-provided, not guaranteed, and can vary by location.
• Full-time new hires may be eligible for a sign-on bonus; amount and payout schedule discussed during interviews.
