Green Rabbit (operating under Performance Food Group’s Vistar segment) is seeking a Mid-Shift Warehouse Associate.

Pay

Starting pay $16.50 per hour with a $0.50 shift differential (up to $17 per hour).

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM.

About the role

The General Warehouse Associate – Pickers and Shippers plays a key role in fulfilling orders within the warehouse. Pickers retrieve inventory using an automated headset system and place it in the correct boxes to ensure accurate orders. Shippers prepare these orders for shipment by arranging products in boxes and performing quality control checks. Both roles support additional warehouse functions, including cart and box building, and assist with other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Picker:
  • Use an automated headset system to pull inventory from warehouse shelves.
  • Ensure correct items are placed in boxes to maintain order accuracy.
  • Maintain an efficient picking pace to meet daily order volume.
• Shipper:
  • Interpret on-screen prompts to identify products that need to be shipped.
  • Package products securely and appropriately for safe transport.
  • Perform quality control assessments on items before shipping.
• Collaborate with other departments, including cart building and box building, as needed.
• Accurately and efficiently pick and pack product according to established standards.
• Run scanning equipment.
• Pack orders to the customer’s requirements and/or from provided specifications.
• Meet established productivity and quality standards.
• Self-identify mistakes, recommend solutions, and provide timely feedback.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves from various heights weighing between 10–35 pounds, and occasionally up to 60–90 pounds, throughout shift.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, and dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
