Picker Packer

About the role

This position involves picking and packing parts from the correct location within the Parts Department. Parts are manufactured in our facility and must be picked according to the specifics of customer orders and delivered on time. The role requires standing and walking for 8 hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Inspect items to ensure they are not damaged and meet quality standards before packing.
• Follow packing instructions and company procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Meet daily packing quotas and deadlines.

Requirements

• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must be able to adapt to occasional quick changes in a fast-paced environment.
• English-speaking; bilingual is a plus.
• Must be able to move, lift, and carry up to 40 lb.
• Must be willing and able to walk 3-4 miles per shift.
• Work environment includes exposure to humid, heat, and cold conditions in the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a packing role is a plus.
• Quick learner.
