Skill Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Computer literacy, experience using WMS warehouse management systems
- Self-motivated, able to work independently or as part of a diverse team
- Flexible and willing to work overtime or varying shifts as needed
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Accurately complete basic mathematical calculations
- Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform tasks such as stooping, kneeling, and climbing stairs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Committed to following environmental, health, and safety standards
What's a Typical Day?
You’ll be:
- Picking parts and assembling orders according to customer requirements
- Reading work orders and shipping documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped
- Moving items from bulk containers, racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequence (size, type, style, color, product code)
- Filling requisitions and placing stock items in designated areas
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards
- Scanning materials and moving them according to standard work instructions
- Accurately tracking and counting of inventory, including physical counts
- Performing facilities maintenance duties such as sweeping, dusting, mopping, and general organization
- Completing other duties as assigned
