About the role
Catalina Foothills High School seeks a Certified-Middle and High School/Science - Physics teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
Responsibilities
- Teach Physics courses to students in grades 6-12
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards
- Assess student learning through various methods including quizzes, tests, and projects
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and support student success
- Maintain accurate records and report on student progress
Requirements
- A valid Arizona Secondary Certificate (6-12)
- Physics as an approved area on the certificate
- 30 semester hours of Physics college coursework
- Full Structured English Immersion (SEI) endorsement within one year of hire
Qualifications
- Strong background in Physics education
- Effective communication skills
