About the role

The Senior Medical Physicist plays a vital leadership role within the radiotherapy team, focusing on ensuring patient, staff, and public safety while enhancing imaging and therapeutic radiation precision.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on complex clinical and operational issues.
• Support the evaluation and implementation of new procedures and technologies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in physics or related fields from an accredited program.
• Active medical physics licensure in Texas.
• Certification from recognized boards such as the American Board of Radiology or the Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine.
• 5+ years of postgraduate experience.
• Experience with EBRT techniques, Varian technology, quality management, and process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Higher degrees from CAMPEP-accredited programs.
• Completion of a residency program.
• Extensive experience in SRS/SRT.
• Familiarity with third-party QA systems and safety regulations.

Pay

$200,000 to $275,000 annually.
