About the role
The Senior Medical Physicist plays a vital leadership role within the radiotherapy team, ensuring patient, staff, and public safety while advancing imaging and therapeutic radiation techniques.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical, administrative, educational, and safety oversight.
- Evaluate equipment performance and support the implementation of new procedures and technologies.
- Collaborate with physicians and oncology professionals to deliver safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Master’s or doctoral degree in physics or related fields.
- Active medical physics licensing and certification.
- 5+ years of postgraduate experience with expertise in EBRT, motion management, CT simulation, and Varian systems.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Experience in SRS/SRT.
- Experience with third-party QA systems.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance.
