About the role

Saratoga Medical is seeking a Flight Surgeon - Aerospace Medicine for an upcoming position in San Antonio with the Aerospace Medical Standards Program for the Department of the Air Force at RAFB.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to military aviators and support personnel.
• Conduct pre-flight medical examinations and evaluations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of medical policies and procedures.
• Participate in medical board reviews and investigations.
• Ensure compliance with federal aviation regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as an MD.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Military Flight Surgeon serving on Active Duty is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace medicine.
• Knowledge of military aviation regulations and standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
