About the role

The Department of Surgery at The MetroHealth System, a major teaching affiliate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join our full-time academic faculty in Cleveland, Ohio. This is an outstanding opportunity for a vascular surgeon seeking a collaborative academic environment that combines a broad and diverse clinical practice with opportunities for teaching, mentorship, research, and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Provide broad clinical expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of arterial and venous disease, utilizing both open surgical and endovascular approaches
  • Treat superficial and deep venous pathology
  • Interpret noninvasive vascular studies
  • Participate in the education and mentorship of Case Western Reserve University medical students and surgical residents
  • Engage in academic surgery, clinical excellence, research, scholarly activity, quality improvement, and program development

Requirements

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Vascular Surgery
  • Eligibility for or possession of Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification
  • Strong commitment to academic surgery and clinical excellence

Qualifications

  • Academic appointment with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, with academic rank commensurate with experience and qualifications
