Physician, Urgent Care - Green Valley (Full Time)

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Saturday-Sunday & Holidays, 8:00AM to 5:00PM

Inpatient/Outpatient Responsibilities

• Daily Patient Census: Average 20-40 patients per day
• Access to state-of-the-art medical equipment and comprehensive resources
• Provider Support: Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Primary Responsibilities:
  • Consult with patients to assess urgent care needs and determine appropriate treatment plans
  • Recommend and order diagnostic tests to evaluate illnesses and injuries
  • Maintain monitoring of lab results and medication adherence
  • Prescribe treatments, therapies, medications, and vaccinations as necessary
  • Provide education on procedures, test results, and treatment options
  • Refer patients to specialists when needed
  • Participate in hospital committees and initiatives
  • Collaborate with and supervise APPs to enhance patient care

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or a related field
• Licensed to practice medicine in the state of California
• Proven experience in urgent care or emergency medicine settings
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Compensation And Perks

• Income Guarantee at $354,000
• Full-time: 15 shifts per month - 1 shift: 10 hours
• APP Supervision: $12,000 per year per 1.0 FTE APP
• Signing Bonus: up to $30,000
• Retailion Bonus (beginning at the completion of the 2nd year): up to $30,000 per year
