Physician - Urgent Care | Full-time | Fayetteville, NC
Position Summary
We are seeking a Full-Time clinician to join our team in Fayetteville, NC. This role is ideal for clinicians who value variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact while practicing in a fast-paced, well-supported urgent care environment. Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
- Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging
- Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable)
- Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
- Code and bill services appropriately
- Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
- PRACTICE IN ALIGNMENT WITH NEXTCARE CLINICAL STANDARDS AND VALUES
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted North Carolina license for MD/DO
- Board certification or eligibility in Emergency or Family Medicine
- Active DEA license
- Ability to treat patients of all ages
- Active BLS certification
- EHR proficiency
- Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
- DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)
- Must be willing to supervise APP clinicians as per North Carolina state requirements
- An additional stipend will be paid per APP supervised
