Physician - Trager Institute/Optimal Aging Clinic - Louisville, KY

About the role

The University of Louisville Department of Family and Geriatric Medicine seeks a full-time Geriatrician to join the department as clinical faculty. This is a non-academic role.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope primary care and consultative care of the older adult at the multi-disciplinary Trager Optimal Aging Clinic.
• Additional clinical opportunities include nursing home care.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and obtain licensure in the state of Kentucky.
• Demonstrated clinical and teaching skills, including working with family residents and geriatric fellows at the University of Louisville.
• Additional training in an accredited geriatric medicine fellowship is preferred.
• Prior experience in this discipline will also be considered.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctorate degree.
• Epic EMR experience is preferred.
• Strong computer and keyboarding skills.
• Physician license for state of Kentucky.
• ACLS/BLS Certification.
