Physician - Susquehanna Family Practice and the Gender Wellness Center

Job Description & Responsibilities

Join an established group of 4 Family Medicine Practitioners and 3 Mental Health providers in a rural-based family practice/gender center to provide primary care for cisgender and TGD youth/adults across the lifespan.

Provide evidence-based, quality primary care to cisgender and TGD youth and adults, including the provision of gender affirming hormone therapy and pubertal suppression.

Half day/week of non-clinical time for self-study.

Participate in GWC interdisciplinary rounds and team meetings.

Take part in team activities/grant implementation.

Engage in efforts to ensure diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice in healthcare.

PRACTICE CULTURAL RESPONSIVENESS AND CULTURAL HUMILITY.

Job Qualifications

• NYS certification/Licensure as MD/DO
• LBS Certification Required
• Strong clinical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Leadership skills, commitment to LGBTQ+ healthcare, and interdisciplinary teamwork
• Employs principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice in clinical practice
• DEA Required
