Physician - Family Practice

Responsibilities

• Round on sick patients, typically 20-30 daily, reviewing issues and reasons for medical unit housing, often related to detox.
• Manage the addiction component for opioid use disorder.
• Provide consultation for prenatal care cases, collaborating with a separate OBGYN provider as needed.
• Cookordinate patient care with outside hospitals and doctors offices.
• Provide support to onsite midlevel providers.
• Engage in significant administrative work, including managing email correspondence and clearing patients for dental extractions.
• See occasional patients, with a maximum of 10 per day.
