What You Will Do
- Manage the candidate recruitment process
- Initiate physician candidate contact, interview and evaluate candidates based on defined qualifications
- Qualify leads to determine potential interest
- Acquire references and background checks of appropriate candidates
- Clock in initial contact between entity and/or practice and the candidate
- Maintain constant communication with candidates throughout the process
- Debrief candidates and facilitate negotiation of final package to secure placement, as needed
- Ensure documentation and maintenance of physician candidate records
- Engage with zone and entity leaders to develop plans to accomplish physician recruitment objectives
- Develop and implement marketing opportunities
- Coordinate and manage web sites, trade journals, direct mail, tele-marketing, residency programs and exhibit at job fairs and specialty meetings/conferences
- Seek to be innovative in choosing sources that produce the top residents and fellows for interview with our system
- Promote collaboration with the preferred sites / sources for sourcing quality candidates
- Inspire trust and confidence by establishing open, candid, trusting relationships within the physician recruitment team, within THR and outside the organization
- Participate as an active and engaged team member
- Provide consultation to hospital Presidents, physicians and staff regarding the physician recruitment process, trends in the industry and competitive compensation
- Monitor outcomes of recruitment activity for process improvement purposes and to ensure compliance with Stark regulations
Here’s What You Need
- 4 years relevant work experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree required AND 7 years experience recruiting physicians without a bachelor’s degree required
- OR Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare related field preferred AND 3 years experience recruiting physicians with a bachelor’s degree preferred
