Physician Pulmonology & Critical Care Division, Lung Transplant Physician (Open Rank/Track Faculty)
About the role
The Division of Pulmonology, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine is seeking a dynamic academic Pulmonary/Critical Care physician at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor ranking with expertise in Lung Transplantation. The Division is comprised of a comprehensive team of physicians and staff focused on delivering high-quality patient care, contributing as academic leaders through scholarship and discovery, and educating medical students and postgraduate trainees. The position strongly emphasizes critical care medicine and outpatient pulmonary medicine and affords opportunities in sleep medicine.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, with a focus on Lung Transplantation
- Contribute to the academic mission through research, teaching, and mentoring
- Participate in clinical, translational, and basic research activities
- Educate medical students and postgraduate trainees in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
- Collaborate with other specialists in sleep medicine
Requirements
- Fellowship trained in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine with advanced training or experience in Lung Transplantation
- Board Certified/Eligible in Adult Pulmonary Disease
- Board Certified/Eligible in Critical Care Medicine
- An active research program in basic, translational, clinical, or health services research is desirable

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong clinical skills in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
- Experience with Lung Transplantation

Pay
