Physician - PRN General Surgery

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon at Hancock in Bay St. Louis, MS. Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient care by abiding by Ochsner’s core values of Patients First, Integrity, Compassion, Inclusivity, Teamwork and Excellence
• The Responsibilities of the Professional StaffPhysician – General Surgeon – Hancock, MS
• Outpatient/Inpatient – see patients in the clinic, respond to consults on the floor and in the ED, and will operate in the OR.
• Most common types of surgeries seen at Hancock: gallbladders, hernias, ports, biopsies, breast surgeries including mastectomies, and appendectomies
• Community hospital that is a part of a much larger healthcare system
• Excellent OR and hospital medicine team support

Requirements

Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

Skills

Strong surgical skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to work well in a team environment.

Pay

Salary is commensurate with experience and training.
