Physician - Primary Care

About the role

The Primary Care Physician will join AtlantiCare's multi-specialty group at their Manahawkin campus. Practices are moving towards the "patient-centered medical home" model by offering same- or next-day urgent appointments, using electronic medical records, and partnering with an AtlantiCare care manager.

Responsibilities

• Offering same- or next-day urgent appointments
• Using electronic medical records
• Partnering with an AtlantiCare care manager
• Caregiving for patients admitted to AtlantiCare's two medical centers through hospitalist services

Requirements

• Medical degree
• Board certification in Family Medicine or equivalent
• Experience in primary care

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong clinical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
