About the role

The Primary Care Physician will join a multi-specialty group at AtlantiCare, a leading healthcare organization in Southeastern New Jersey. Practices are moving towards the patient-centered medical home model, offering same- or next-day urgent appointments, electronic medical records, and partnerships with care managers.

Responsibilities

  • Offering same- or next-day urgent appointments
  • Using electronic medical records
  • Partnership with an AtlantiCare care manager
  • Care provided by AtlantiCare hospitalists for admitted patients

Requirements

  • Medical degree
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Experience in primary care

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong clinical judgment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems
