Physician - Pediatrics Gastroenterology

Role Overview

Seeking a full-time Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join a dedicated team providing clinical care, teaching, and research opportunities. The role involves outpatient clinics, performing procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, and esophageal dilation, and sharing night call responsibilities (1:4). The physician will participate in mentoring residents, fellows, and medical students, with access to telemedicine and a comprehensive EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Manage outpatient pediatric gastroenterology cases with an average of 8 patients per half day
• Perform various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Contribute to teaching and mentoring medical trainees
• Engage in research, quality improvement, and community outreach activities
• Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists and support hospital coverage

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree and Arizona medical license
• Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology
