Physician - Pediatric Urologist - Full Time Academic and Community
About the role
Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and LSU Health Sciences Center – Shreveport are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Urologist to expand its full-time clinical faculty. Must be BE/BC in Pediatric Urology and eligible for LA license. The position will include patient care and resident and medical student education.
Responsibilities
- Rotate clinical duties and responsibilities between Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport Academic Medical Center and two affiliated teaching institutions.
- Utilize several da Vinci surgical systems (including a dual-console unit) for patient care and resident training.
- Join a fully accredited Urology Residency Training Program with two residents per level.
Requirements
- Board Certification/Eligibility in Pediatric Urology.
- Eligible for Louisiana medical license.
Qualifications
- Experience in pediatric urology preferred.
- Strong commitment to teaching and research.

- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
