Physician - Pediatric Urologist - Full Time Academic and Community

About the role

At Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and LSU Health Sciences Center – Shreveport, we are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Urologist to expand our full-time clinical faculty. The successful candidate will provide patient care and contribute to the education of medical students and residents.

Responsibilities

- Provide patient care at both the Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport Academic Medical Center and two affiliated teaching institutions. - Utilize several da Vinci surgical systems for patient care and resident training. - Join a fully accredited Urology Residency Training Program with two residents per level. - Teach and guide medical students and residents in a fully accredited residency program.

Requirements

- Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Urology. - Eligible for a Louisiana medical license.

- Strong clinical skills and experience in pediatric urology. - Excellent communication and teaching abilities. - Commitment to academic and community service.

Skills

- Surgical skills, particularly with da Vinci systems. - Teaching and mentoring skills. - Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
