Physician Pediatric Endocrinologist - Kalamazoo, Michigan

About the role

Bronson Children’s Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan is seeking a BE/BC Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our Physician-Led Medical Group and growing Pediatric teams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, Treat, and Manage a wide variety of Pediatric Endocrine Disorders, from common to complex patients
• Collaborative relationship with other Pediatric Sub-Specialists and Primary Care teams
• Strong referral base and large need within the community
• Primarily Outpatient Based M-F position with some Inpatient Consults
• Hospital Employed Shared Call Responsibilities with other providers, supported by a robust triage system

Requirements

• BE/BC Pediatric Endocrinologist, Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship Trained
• Current unrestricted or pending Licensure in the state of Michigan
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate and quality patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Medical degree and 2 years of direct or intern experience required
• Current Medical License in the state of Michigan
• Current DEA and DPS Certificate of Registration
• Maintain all requirements for medical staff privileges
• Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques
• Thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills along with proper telephone etiquette
• Performs in a tactful and professional manner
