About the role
Ochsner Children's Hospital in New Orleans is actively recruiting a BC/BE PEDIATRIC HEMATOLOGIST/ONCOLOGIST, FELLOWSHIP TRAINED IN STEM CELL TRANSPLANT to join our expanding practice. Recent graduates and experienced physicians are welcomed to apply. Salary offered will be competitive and commensurate with experience and training.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the field of pediatric hematology/oncology, including stem cell transplant services.
- Teach pediatric residents from the Tulane-Ochsner Pediatric Residency program.
- Contribute to academic activities, including research and publication.
- Participate in the development and management of the Adolescent & Young Adult Oncology program and the Hemostasis and Thrombosis program.
- Collaborate with Ochsner’s Adult Hematology/Oncology group, which is clinically integrated with MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Requirements
- Board Certification in Pediatrics and Hematology/Oncology.
- Fellowship trained in Stem Cell Transplantation.
- Current Medical License in the state of Louisiana.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Recent graduates and experienced physicians are welcome to apply.
- Strong academic background with publications and presentations.
- Experience in teaching and mentoring pediatric residents.
- Interest in academic and research activities.
Skills
- Expertise in pediatric hematology and oncology, particularly stem cell transplantation.
