Physician – Pediatric Cardiologist

About the role

Ochsner Children’s in Gulfport, Mississippi is seeking a board certified/board eligible Pediatric Cardiologist to join our Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Ochsner Health Center - Gulfport. This person would be joining a board-certified pediatric cardiologist and three advanced practice practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Treatment of congenital heart disease and other pediatric cardiological conditions
• Participation in clinical research and teaching
• Collaboration with other specialists and healthcare providers
• Assisting in the training of medical students and residents
• Participating in the management of the division’s caseload

Requirements

• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics and Cardiology
• Current license to practice medicine in Mississippi
• Experience in pediatric cardiology is preferred but not required

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of a pediatric residency program
• Successful completion of a pediatric cardiology fellowship (preferred)

Pay

The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend coverage as needed.
