Physician - Otolaryngology - Skull Base and Ablative Head and Neck Surgery Fellow

About the role

The Skull Base and Ablative Head and Neck Surgery Fellow is trained within a collaborative surgical environment that embraces a two-team surgery approach. The fellow is trained in open and endoscopic skull base surgery in a robust, high-volume institution. Fellows typically log over 150 skull base cases annually and help run a weekly case review and tumor board to discuss management strategies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the head and neck tumor board
• Engage in clinical research projects
• Attend conferences
• Independently staff surgical cases
• Teach residents

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD)
• Completion of an Otolaryngology residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in specialization required
• State of Ohio, full, unrestricted medical license and paid DEA license required
