About the role

Banner - University Medical Group (BUMG) is recruiting a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Total Joint Surgeon to join the academic team at Banner - University Medical Center Tucson (BUMCT). This is an opportunity to be part of a growing program that prioritizes clinical excellence, innovation, and collaboration within an academic medical center setting. The surgeon will join a well-established orthopedic surgery department with a strong referral base and access to state-of-the-art surgical resources.

Responsibilities

• Perform primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty
• Hold an academic appointment with the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson
• Participate in resident education and clinical research
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary orthopedic and perioperative care team

Requirements

• Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and academic contributions
• Eligibility for Arizona medical licensure

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction / Total Joint Arthroplasty
• Career development and mentorship opportunities
