About the role

The Specialty Optometry practice at Orange City Area Health System (OCAHS) is seeking an Optometrist certified by the NBEO to join their expanding group of providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive optometric services, including specialty lens fittings and pediatrics
• Work within the OCAHS team to support patient care

Requirements

• Board certification by the American Board of Optometry is encouraged but not required
• Experience in optometry is preferred but not required

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited program
• Current license to practice optometry in Iowa
• Passing score on the National Board of Examiners in Optometry exam

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
