About the role
Outpatient Optometry Physician providing primary eye care services in a clinic setting. Credentialing process takes approximately 120 days.
Responsibilities
- Conduct primary eye care and comprehensive eye examinations
- Perform contact lens fittings
- Evaluate and manage ocular diseases
- Deliver patient care Monday through Friday (no weekends or call)
- Use the Epic electronic medical record system
Requirements
- Board Certified Optometrist
- Valid Louisiana or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact license
Skills
- Expertise in eye examinations and contact lens care
- Ocular disease management
- Electronic record keeping
Pay
$121.25 to $131.25 per hour
