About the Role
The Cancer Institute comprises a team of more than 40 medical oncologists who are local and national leaders in their fields. Many physicians have advanced sub-specialty training and are backed by a full team of interdisciplinary medical and surgical specialists across the system of care.
- Establish standards of care, develop a clinical trials portfolio, and foster program development to address clinical needs.
- See more than 7,000 analytic cases per year, including over 3,000 new breast cancer cases annually.
The mission of the Cancer Institute is to deliver equitable, patient-centered cancer care within a healthcare system dedicated to quality improvement and clinical research.
- Partnered with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to accelerate the transfer of knowledge from academic medical centers to community healthcare.
- Collaborate with Memorial Sloan Kettering on clinical trials and research in areas such as geriatric oncology, palliative care, and medical informatics.
