Physician, Oncology
Job Description
Coverage of comprehensive evaluations for new oncology patients, assessment of patient history, labs, imaging, and pathology to formulate accurate diagnoses, development and management of individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based care, entry and management of Beacon infusion orders, ongoing monitoring through scheduled follow-up visits, collaboration with multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless care delivery, maintenance of accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology
- Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)

Sutter Lakeside Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital in Lake County, California. It is the only trauma center and certified stroke center in Lake County and is accredited by The Joint Commission.

Education
Doctorate: Graduate of an accredited medical school
Other: Successful completion of a medical residency program.

Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
Pay Range
$432,016.00 to $702,998.40 / annual salary
