About the role
This position includes a $50,000 sign-on bonus, up to $20,000.00 in relocation assistance, $36,000.00 residency/fellowship stipend if applicable and $75,000 in student loan repayment when applicable.
Patient care is provided in an inpatient oncology setting managed by our team on a call rotation.
Full-service infusion lab and therapeutic radiology are also on site.
The position is located at Intermountain Health Cedar City Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Work with a team of healthcare professionals to provide quality care and excellent patient experience.
- Manage inpatient oncology services on a call rotation.
- Participate in an integrated oncology program within Intermountain Health.
- Offer therapeutic radiology services on site.
- Manage Medicare accredited hospice services.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
- Residency training in Hematology and Oncology.
- Board certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology or Hematology /Oncology.
- Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
Qualifications
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.
Skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong clinical skills in oncology.
- Knowledge of hospital and clinic operations.

Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $7.25 - $999.99
