Responsibilities
- Performs other physician office based clerical/administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of experience working in an office or healthcare environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology, computer applications, and electronic health records
- Proficiency with standard office equipment
- Ability to communicate clearly and in a professional manner with staff and patients
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment
- Prioritize Associates degree
- Advanced computer skills
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and 10 CPT coding
