Responsibilities

  • Performs other physician office based clerical/administrative duties as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of experience working in an office or healthcare environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, computer applications, and electronic health records
  • Proficiency with standard office equipment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and in a professional manner with staff and patients
  • Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment
  • Prioritize Associates degree
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Knowledge of ICD-9 and 10 CPT coding
