Physician Office - LPN - McLeod Pulmonology & Critical Care Associates Florence PBC - MRMC
Responsibilities
- Affords assistance to physicians in assessing patient needs via data from history, observation, physical exams, telephone triage, and analysis of diagnostic data.
- Executes direct patient care tasks, including triage, assessment, procedures, treatments, patient education, discharge instructions, and follow-up communications.
- Prepares patients for physician visits, formulates initial databases, and documents pertinent information in patient charts.
- Carries out specialized tests and administers medications and injections as directed by the physician.
- Assists with treatments and procedures, provides patient education, schedules testing and referrals, and handles patient consultations.
- Cleans and organizes examination rooms, maintains equipment, and orders medical supplies.
Qualifications
- Basic Life Support certification within 90 days of hire.
- Computer skills required.
- Licensed Practical Nurse certification.
