Physician - OBGYN - Per Diem

About the role

MaineHealth Obstetrics and Gynecology, a part of MaineHealth Franklin Hospital, is seeking a Per Diem BC/BE OB/GYN in Farmington.

Responsibilities

• Join a well-established practice of 4 physicians and 1 Certified Nurse Midwife.
• Offer a mix of office, OR, and obstetric services.
• Benefit from an academic affiliation with Maine Medical Center and Tufts University School of Medicine, providing opportunities to teach residents and medical students.
• Share call responsibilities, requiring 1 weekend call per month.
• Serve as a Level 1 Maternal Center and the sole inpatient facility in Franklin County, serving the local community with comprehensive support from a state-wide health system.
• Deliver approximately 250 babies annually at Franklin Hospital.

Requirements

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of OB/GYN residency program.
• ABOG Board Certified/Board Eligible in OB/GYN.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in a rural setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in using Epic EMR.
• Knowledge of subspecialties such as Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, and Urogynecology.

Pay

Compensation and benefits are commensurate with experience.
