About the role

A per diem Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) physician is needed to join an experienced and collaborative team at Lincoln Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital within the MaineHealth network.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver full-spectrum OB/GYN services, including outpatient reproductive health, labor and delivery, and major gynecologic surgeries including minimally invasive hysterectomies.
  • Consult with advanced practice providers (APPs) in inpatient settings to ensure quality care.
  • Provide timely response for labor, delivery, and gynecologic emergencies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education/Training: Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency or fellowship program in the relevant specialty, or equivalent.
  • Two years’ experience providing full-scope OB/GYN care preferred; however, recent graduates with strong residency training will be considered.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Eligible for licensure in the State of Maine. Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing and privileges at designated hospital locations.
