Physician - Non-Anesthesiology - Pain Clinic
About the role
Join a supportive team of two physicians and four advanced practice providers. Practice details include a multi-disciplinary approach focusing on pain management through procedures, medications, psychology, sleep medicine, physical therapy, integrative health, and nutrition. The position involves managing medications including non-opioid & opioid for select patients (not many), and patients with intrathecal pain pumps. Strong relationships with Neurosurgery and a comprehensive referral network contribute to the practice.
Responsibilities
- Perform a broad range of spine procedures including epidural steroid injections, selective nerve root blocks, and radiofrequency ablations
- Manage patients with intrathecal pain pumps (training provided for the right candidate)
- Manage pain through procedures, medications, psychology, sleep medicine, physical therapy, integrative health, and nutrition
Requirements
- Completion of Pain fellowship and residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurology, Psychiatry, or Anesthesiology
- Comfortable with performing a broad range of spine procedures
- Willingness to manage patients with intrathecal pain pumps
- Interest in managing pain through various modalities
Qualifications
- Completed medical degree (MD/DO)
- Board-certified/eligible in Pain Medicine or Interventional Spine
- Current Medical License in North Dakota
