Physician, Nephrologist
About the Role
Pen Bay Hospital is seeking a Nephrologist to join its regional Nephrology team, providing care to Coastal Maine communities. Candidates will work in a collegial atmosphere alongside supportive staff at both Pen Bay Hospital and Waldo Hospital. The ideal candidate will deliver acute and chronic care to patients with kidney problems and disease. This position offers a supportive, collaborative environment with strong patient/provider relationships, comprehensive resources, and advanced technologies, including a fully integrated Epic EMR.
Pay
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $360,966 to $415,141. Total compensation packages may include recruitment payments, relocation assistance, productivity incentives, and quality incentives, based on eligibility.

Requirements
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
- Active and unrestricted State of ME medical license, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
- Board Certification/Eligibility in Nephrology.
- Active and unrestricted DEA license, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
