About the role

The University of Kansas Cancer Center (KCCC) is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified hematology/oncology physician to join its growing, community-based practice. This position would be ideal for physicians who are comfortable seeing a broad range of cancer cases.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, state-of-the-art medical care to cancer patients
  • Develop novel therapeutic and treatment options through clinical, translational, and molecular research
  • Train the field’s next generation of cancer experts

Requirements

  • Candidates should be board-eligible, or board certified in medical oncology or hematology/oncology
  • Completed a fellowship training in hematology or medical oncology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in both Kansas and Missouri

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of outstanding clinical care
  • Innovative and productive research
  • Demonstrated history or strong promise of securing consistent extramural funding
  • A clear commitment to both graduate and medical education
