About the role
Platte Valley Medical Center is a 98-bed, Level III Trauma Center located in Brighton, a growing community of about 38,000 people just 30 minutes from downtown Denver. The Cancer Center at Platte Valley Medical Center is part of a larger group of centers across our 4 hospitals in the Denver and surrounding areas. As a member of this team, you would be based at Platte Valley Medical Center and part of a collaborative oncology team across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Clinic hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Work 40 hours per week on a 4-day schedule.
- On-call schedule is 1:6 for all locations.
- Call is typically light, with payment for shifts ranging from $450 per weeknight to $1,890 per weekend.
- Participation in a robust clinical trials infrastructure.

Requirements
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
- Unrestricted physician license in the state of CO or ability to obtain one.
- Fellowship trained in Hematology/Oncology.
- American Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline.

Pay
The compensation plan is standard across the Denver Front Range. The salary is $576,015 plus a wRVU production incentive. Call is paid out from the first call shift at $450/weeknight and $1,890/weekend. Additionally, there is a $25,000 sign-on bonus available. For more details, see the provided links.
