Physician - MD/DO - Cardiac Electrophysiologist

About the role

A highly skilled Cardiac Electrophysiologist is sought to join our team at OK-SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and committed to advancing the field of cardiac electrophysiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex electrophysiological procedures including ablations and implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators
• Collaborate with interventional cardiologists and other specialists to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care
• Contribute to research initiatives related to cardiac electrophysiology
• Train and mentor fellows and residents in electrophysiology

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
• Current license to practice medicine in Oklahoma
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship
• Board certification in Cardiovascular Disease and/or Electrophysiology

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills and excellent interpersonal abilities
• Experience with advanced electrophysiology techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
• Knowledge of current cardiovascular disease management practices
